The Iran Nuclear Deal explained by an Israeli - online tutorial

Learn from an Israeli man about the 2015 Iran Nuclear Deal and why is it so important that congress will pass it

I am an Israeli man and I am frightened!

I listen to the voices of people calling the 2015 Iran Nuclear Deal a mistake.

I listen to the voices of people hoping and praying that this agreement won't pass.

These people are seemingly unaware of the current Israeli government mindset and capabilities as well as the spiritual aspects of this agreement.

In this coursework I will try to persuade you that the only outcome that makes sense is for the US Congress to approve the Iran Nuclear Deal .

I will portray the particulars of the deal, its significance in world affairs and its relationship with the actual possibility of a new world war.

Blocking the Pathways to a Nuclear Weapon

Building a nuclear bomb requires either uranium or plutonium. But thanks to this deal, Iran's feasible ways to leverage those fissile materials are blocked.

The Uranium pathways at Natanz and Fordow

Iran would need key elements to construct a uranium bomb: tens of thousands of centrifuges and highly enriched uranium to produce material to construct a uranium bomb.

There's currently uranium enrichment facilities in the country: the Natanz facility and the Fordow facility.

Let's take a glance at Iran's uranium stockpile first. Currently, Iran has a uranium stockpile to generate 8 to0 nuclear bombs.

But thanks to this nuclear deal, Iran must reduce its stockpile of uranium by 98%, and will keep its level of uranium enrichment at 3.67%  significantly below the enrichment level needed to generate a bomb.

Iran also needs tens of thousands of centrifuges to generate highly enriched uranium for a bomb. Right now, Iran has very twenty,000 centrifuges between their Natanz and Fordow facilities. But under this deal, Iran must reduce its centrifuges to 6,104 for the next0 years. No enrichment will be allowed at the Fordow facility at all, and the only centrifuges Iran will be allowed to make use of are their oldest and least efficient models.
