In this one time 60 minute course, students will learn how to build a 3D model using free online software called Sketchup. Skills learned in this class can be applied to architectural design, interior design, creative design, or carpentry.
In this introductory class, students will learn about the 3D modeling program SketchUp. Students will not only get to see how you can create 3D models and what they can be used for, but they will create their own 3D models using free 3D modeling software. In this one-time course, students will see that they have the tools to create their own 3D models that could be used for architecture, interior design, furniture design, video game development, or creative expression.
Students will be shown step by step how to create an account, view samples of what they could start drawing, and then they'll have a guided assignment of creating their very own first 3D model!
This course will prove useful for many years for your student! It is the perfect introductory course for a student who is interested in 3D modeling.
